The Uganda Road Fund performs technical and financial reviews of road maintenance projects on all Road Fund agencies that include UNRA, KCCA, Districts, Municipalities and Town Councils every financial year. The purpose of the review is to provide assurance to the URF Board that funds disbursed in the period under review are utilised in accordance with the provisions in as provided for in the agency work plans, performance agreements and the URF Act. Furthermore, the review is aimed at verifying that the use of such resources is efficient, effective and with due regard to economy and transparency.
