The Minister of State for Finance, Planning and Economic Development (General Duties),
Hon. Gabriel Ajedra Aridru led a delegation of 12 officials on technical bench-marking trip
to participate in the EU funded study of Institutional and Funding Models for Uganda
Road Fund in Namibia, Windhoek and South Africa, Cape Town from 02nd –
8th February 2020. The Team visited Road Fund Offices in Windhoek and the Western
Cape Government in Cape Town. The study will inform the new direction of the Fund
and specifically a funding model that will provide predictable funding.
